EquipNet helps the largest manufacturers in the world to buy, sell, and manage their surplus capital equipment. The company works in multiple industries including consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, and electronics. The Account Executive-Biotech will work as part of a team engaged in helping companies buy and sell pre-owned laboratory and life sciences equipment. The company is looking for a self-starter who loves to develop business on the phone promoting relevant products to relevant people and nurture company-developed sales leads into opportunities and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and business opportunities.
• Engage in warm calling to establish relationships with prospective clients.
• Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer interactions, and reporting on performance metrics.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitive landscape.
• Provide leadership within the sales team by mentoring junior staff and sharing best practices.

Requirements
• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a technical field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess market conditions and client needs.
• Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing sales processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close sales successfully.
• A proactive approach to building relationships with clients through warm calling techniques. • Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and drive results within the sales department.
• A passion for continuous learning and professional development in the field of sales.
