Description:
EquipNet helps the largest manufacturers in the world to buy, sell, and manage their surplus capital equipment. The company works in multiple industries including consumer packaged goods, pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, and electronics.

EquipNet is seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in a small, collaborative environment, with Warehouse Associates reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and inventory control.

  • Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet operational goals.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

  • Develop and implement process improvements to optimize space utilization, workflow, and productivity.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and collaborate with logistics to ensure proper stock levels.

  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company policies; promote a strong safety culture.

  • Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, project management, and sales to meet business objectives.

  • Oversee maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and warehouse infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable operations.

  • Support implementation of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to enhance performance.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics management (including 2+ years in a leadership role).

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Understanding of OSHA and safety compliance requirements.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.

  • Work environment may include exposure to noise, temperature variations, and warehouse equipment.
